Julio is a struggling writer who lands an interview with a famous author to type up his new manuscript. But when he doesn’t get the job, instead of admitting it to his girlfriend, Julio pretends to transcribe the presumed novel by writing it himself. Searching for inspiration and a plot, he revisits a romance from his student days, becoming more and more caught up in the past—and in the stories we tell ourselves in order to live.
