NYC PREMIERE. More than six years after the 2017 reckoning of sex and power dynamics in the entertainment industry, filmmakers Caroline Suh and Cara Mones raise provocative questions about the impact of the movement and the public’s role in determining cultural “cancellation”. Zeroing in on comedian Louis C.K.’s admission of sexual misconduct over multiple years and his subsequent controversial comeback, Sun and Mones speak with reporters Melena Ryzik, Cara Buckley, and Jodi Kantor (who initially broke the story in 2017) and cultural commentators to unpack the complexities and contradictions on the Louis C.K. story.
