Frank Serpico

Wednesday, November 1 - Thursday, November 9, 2017

A hero to many, hated by others, officer Frank Serpico exposed rampant bribery and corruption in the NYPD in the early 70s. His one-man crusade inspired the eponymous Al Pacino classic, but the real story is as gripping as anything Hollywood could invent. Music by Jack White and interviews with associates and admirers—including Luc Sante and John Turturro—round out a portrait of a man who refused to back down.
