Written by Tetsuya Nakashima (MEMORIES OF MATSUKO, KAMIKAZE GIRLS) and shot in his candy-colored, super surreal style, LALA PIPO is a trawl through the gutters of the sex industry, telling the stories of the pimps, voyeurs, gangsters, hookers, A/V stars, and gangbang queens who make up the motley population of planet porn. LALA PIPO (a wordplay on “A lot of people,”) is down and dirty and, surprisingly, full of hope. And aliens. And giant superheroes. And talking penises.
