The German Doctor

Friday, April 25 - Thursday, May 22, 2014

Patagonia, 1960. On the road to a new life in a remote town, an Argentinean family meets a mysterious German doctor. As he insinuates himself into their world, the parents entrust their sickly young daughter to his care—little suspecting he’s a notorious Nazi war criminal. Based on a true story that she first adapted as a novel, filmmaker Lucia Puenzo (XXY) crafts a chilling, vivid re-imagining of the second act of one of history’s monsters.
