In the latest from acclaimed director Téchiné (The Witnesses, Wild Reeds), a blocked mystery novelist (André Dussollier) newly arrived in Venice falls for an expat real estate agent (Carole Bouquet) and immediately asks her to move in with him. But when he starts to suspect she’s having an affair, he hires a young ex-con to tail her. As her past comes to light, both men become increasingly obsessed.
