I’m “George Lucas”: A Connor Ratliff Story

Tuesday, May 7, 2024

MANHATTAN PREMIERE

The screening will be followed by an on-stage conversation with filmmaker Ryan Jacobi, producer Annamaria Sofillas,  and film subject Connor Ratliff.

DOC NYC celebrates Star Wars Day (a little bit late, but c’est la guerre) with this irreverent portrait of comedian Connor Ratliff, who has been impersonating the iconic STAR WARS creator George Lucas in a live cult comedy show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater for several years and counting. As his popular creation takes on an unexpected longevity, Ratliff questions his own drive for success and fulfillment in show business.
