PATRICIO GUZMÁN’S CHILE TRILOGY

Monday, February 17, 2020

With THE CORDILLERA OF DREAMS, filmmaker Patricio Guzmán completes his trilogy of films exploring the geography of his native Chile to reflect on the country’s troubled history. From the harsh, arid Atacama Desert that serves as the setting for NOSTALGIA FOR THE LIGHT (2010), to the long coastline of THE PEARL BUTTON (2015), to the Andes Mountains that are the focus of THE CORDILLERA OF DREAMS, Guzman’s powerful trio of films finds solace and resiliency in Chile’s magnificent landscapes.

IFC Center is proud to bring back the first two films in Guzman’s trilogy for special encore screenings. Tickets are available for individual films at the links below, or a ticket package for all three films is available for $24 general admission/$18 IFC Center members.
