Amadéus Leopold’s ascent into the New York glitterati began after being selected as the first classical violinist to hold a solo performance series at the Museum of Modern Art. Now widely recognized for his Avant-Pop appropriations of classical music, as well as for his resolute and androgynous fashion choices, the 25-year-young performer has already worked with music’s biggest living icon: Madonna. This month, Amadéus presents DAY NIGHT DAY NIGHT, which follows an unnamed 19-year-old girl over the course of two days as she plans to blow up Times Square. Don’t miss this bold, tense debut feature by Julia Loktev. It’s sure to be followed by a provocative conversation.
