Gigante

Friday, December 4 - Thursday, December 10, 2009

This quietly funny and effortlessly charming debut centers upon Jara, a shy but intimidatingly large guard at a supermarket who falls for Julia, one of the cleaning crew. He passes hours watching her on the security monitors, and then begins to follow her after work: to the movies, the beach, even on a date with another man. But as his life becomes focused upon a woman he hasn’t even spoken to, Jara realizes he must either give up his obsession or find the courage to confront it.
