Wed, Oct 28: Q&A w/ writer/director Larry Fessenden after 8:45 show!

“My main contribution to the horror genre was to tell a very personal story about addiction and obsession in New York City with an affectionate nod to vampire tropes and mood. Shot on 16mm by Frank DeMarco with a un-self-conscious spare style, we filmed on and off for 45 days with a crew of 5 for 60K. Also steeped in ambiguity, it seems to resonate with anyone who has ever suffered a breakup or felt overwhelmed by existential loneliness, which is to say, most everyone and most every cinephile.” – Larry Fessenden, director
