PRESENTING PRINCESS SHAW

Friday, May 27 - Thursday, June 9, 2016

Two musicians on opposite sides of the world—the singer Princess Shaw and the enigmatic composer Kutiman—discover each other in this incredible true story. By day, Samantha Montgomery cares for the elderly in one of New Orleans’s toughest neighborhoods. By night, she writes and sings her own music as Princess Shaw in a raw, vulnerable voice on her confessional YouTube channel. One day, the Israeli musician Ophir Kutiel, known as Kutiman, stumbles upon her work online. Inspired, he begins to build a song with this woman he’s never met.
