To investigate the black-market diamond economy, Danish provocateur Brügger (The Red Chapel) goes undercover and buys a diplomatic passport to the Central African Republic. Under the guise of setting up a Pygmy-staffed match factory, he makes contact with corrupt entrepreneurs and bribe-hungry officials. But as the absurdities of his complicated situation pile up, its dangers become all too real.
