NEOREALISM is a celebration of “neorealism” period in Italian cinema, a movement that influenced world cinema from the early 1940s to the 1960s. Director and producer Gianni Bozzacchi chronicles this amazing time with clips from the classic neorealist films and interviews with the era’s great directors, including Rossellini, Visconti, DeSica, Scorsese, Bernardo Bertolucci, Ermanno Olmi, Taviani brothers, and many others, including Prof. Umberto Eco, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Prof. Paolo Galluzzi. Narrated and co-written by the award winning filmmaker Carlo Lizzani and produced by Bruno Benetti and Triworld Cinema.
