Animation studio Weston Woods has been bringing beloved children’s picture books to life for over sixty years, transforming the works of Award-winning authors from Maurice Sendak to William Steig to create perhaps the richest collection of short animated children’s films anywhere. This NYICFF selection includes films directed by Weston Wood’s legendary Gene Deitch, Michael Sporn and others and with narration by Carole King, Chevy Chase, Jake Gyllenhaal, and James Earl Jones, to name just a few.
