Human Rights Watch Film Festival 2014

Friday, June 13 - Sunday, June 22, 2014

For more than 30 years, Human Rights Watch has worked tenaciously to: investigate abuses in 90 countries to assemble an accurate and objective picture; expose wrong doing through global media outlets using testimony and multimedia as irrefutable evidence; and change policy at the highest levels of government through targeted and relentless pressure to secure justice for all.

Through the Human Rights Watch Film Festival we bear witness to human rights violations and create a forum for courageous individuals on both sides of the lens to empower audiences with the knowledge that personal commitment can make a difference. The film festival brings human rights abuses to life through storytelling in a way that challenges each individual to empathize and demand justice for all.

Additional screenings take place at the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
