Rendez-Vous with French Cinema 2015

Rendez-Vous with French Cinema returns to IFC Center, celebrating its 10th year downtown with a showcase of the best in French filmmaking–from new work by established masters like André Téchiné and Benoît Jacquot to first features by the next generation of French auteurs. Special guests presenting their films at IFC Center include directors Christophe Honoré, Cedric Kahn and others, internationally known actress-and-filmmaker Mélanie Laurent, French rap star Abd Al Malik with his autobiographical first film, plus stars Nathalie Baye, Gilles Lellouche, Céline Salette and more.

The program is co-presented by Unifrance Films and the Film Society of Lincoln Center in association with IFC Center and BAMcinématek. Additional screenings take place at the Film Society and BAM, or check out related talks, exhibitions and events at FIAF, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and other venues.
