“MASK UP” IN THE POSTERITATI GALLERY AT IFC CENTER

For our reopening, our friends at Posteritati have curated an exhibition of international vintage movie posters as a reminder to wear your mask inside the building at all times. Hailing from the US, Poland, Japan, France and the Czech Republic, and promoting films from The 400 Blows to The Elephant Man to Halloween II, these posters may not always display the right kind of masking for our current situation, but hopefully they’ll inspire you to keep up the good work of wearing yours–and maybe even remind you of some movies to catch up on again. An animated slideshow of some of the highlights of the show is above.

Thanks to Sam Sarowitz, Stan Oh and everyone at Posteritati for letting us display selections from their amazing collection, and for their years and years of support.

IFC Center does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films, as sensitivities vary from person to person. In addition to the synopses, trailers and other links on our website, further information about content and age-appropriateness for specific films can be found on Common Sense Media, IMDb and DoesTheDogDie.com as well as through general internet searches.
