Nitram
Wednesday, March 30 - Thursday, April 21, 2022
Justin Kurzel’s (True History of the Kelly Gang, Macbeth) latest is a devastating look at a troubled young man. In mid-90s suburban Australia, Nitram (Caleb Landry Jones) lives with his mother (Judy Davis) and father (Anthony LaPaglia). A loner who’s never fit in, he passes his days in isolation, until he unexpectedly strikes up a close friendship with a reclusive heiress (Essie Davis, The Babadook). But when that relationship meets a tragic end, and Nitram’s loneliness and anger grow, he begins a slow descent that leads to horror.
