Director Paul Schrader (American Gigolo) and writer Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho) join forces for this incendiary erotic thriller set in the lower-rungs of modern-day Hollywood. Lindsay Lohan stars as Tara, a young actress who, after growing bored with her scheming movie producer boyfriend Christian (adult film star James Deen), rekindles an affair with a former flame. When Christian learns of her infidelity, the couple is plunged into the darkest depths of human desire.
“Schrader’s most stylish picture in years… Lohan gives one of those performances, like Marlon Brando’s in Last Tango in Paris, that comes across as some uncanny conflagration of drama and autobiography.” – Scott Foundas, Variety
