Victim/Suspect

Friday, May 19 - Thursday, May 25, 2023

Director Nancy Schwartzman in person for Q&A following the screening on Friday, May 19 at 6:50 PM.

On her first solo investigation, journalist Rae de Leon travels nationwide to uncover a shockign pattern: young women tell the police they’ve been sexually assaulted, but instead of finding justice, they’re charged with the crime of making a false report, arrested, and even imprisoned by the system they believed would protect them.

Please note: VICTIM/SUPSECT will not have any screenings with open captions as originally announced, since an open caption version of the film does not exist. We apologize for the inconvenience.
