Vilnius, 2022. High-flying executive Marija chooses the worst possible moment to inform her husband Vytas she wants a divorce: just one day before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Suddenly the couple must navigate separating in the middle of a refugee and mid-life crisis. As the reason for their divorce gradually becomes clear, the dissolution of the marriage and the turmoil of world events creates conflicts and opportunities for them both—and for their ever-observant young daughter.

“A subtly searing comedy… both empathetic and surgical.” – Variety
