“Before I started working here, when I learned about the staff pick series, Tank Girl was one of the first movies that came to mind. It was one of the first movies I remember seeing that was unabashedly weird and goofy, and yet it all worked so well. Among a bunch of stellar performances, Lori Petty kills it as the manic titular character, and Malcolm McDowell gives the hammiest performance of his career.
