Dream

Directed by: Kim Ki-Duk
Saturday, June 20 - Wednesday, July 1, 2009
The baddest boy in Korean cinema, Kim Ki-Duk (THE ISLE), returns to the big screen with a twisted cinematic version of that old Zen koan, “A man dreamed he was a butterfly. He awoke and wondered if he was actually a butterfly dreaming he was a man.” Japanese superstar, Joe Odagiri, and Korean comedienne Lee Na-Yeong play two strangers connected at the subconscious: what he dreams happens to her, and vice versa. Being a Kim Ki-Duk movie you know this will be a car wreck of epic proportions: horrifying to watch, yet you can’t turn away.
