Pride

Directed by Shusuke Kaneko (DEATH NOTE) this glitzy, diva-licious flick is based on a hit manga, Pride by Yukari Ichijo. All about young, aspiring, backstabbing opera singers kneecapping each other backstage, pop singer Stephanie plays the rich Shio, whose moneyed parents have just gone bankrupt. Getting all up in her stuff is Moe (Hikari Mitsushima, LOVE EXPOSURE) playing a girl from the wrong side of the tracks with an alcoholic mother who wants to be an opera diva so badly she’ll do anything. Let the battle begin!
