Shaggy-headed Axl has come from Spain to find the father he’s never known. Vera, a beautiful Belgian girl nursing a heartache, yearns to restore her faith in romantic destiny. Obliquely, they circle each other’s orbits as they traipse through a city and a time alive with possibility and promise.
