“POPSTAR: NEVER STOP NEVER STOPPING is a 2016 mockumentary by The Lonely Island. The movie follows the life of popstar Connor4Real as he releases his second solo album. The film flopped at the box office, making back under half of its budget, but has since gained a cult following.

 

I chose this movie, frankly, because I love it. It’s a great send up of the music industry and celebrity culture, it’s extremely funny and creative, and it’s made with a lot of heart. Also I’m hoping that our 2 midnight shows will help it recoup its 10.5 million dollar loss.”
