An astonishingly prolific polymath, James Franco has already produced an impressive body of work as an actor, writer, producer and director
that would make an artist twice his age jealous. His choices have never feared complexity or controversy, and each new project bristles with the thrill of discovery. We’re thrilled to present this not-even-mid-career survey includes some of Franco’s most notable performances—SPRING BREAKERS, 127 HOURS and more—and a sampling of the features he has directed, among them AS I LAY DYING, BROKEN TOWER, SAL and others.

James Franco (born 1978) is an actor, director, screenwriter, producer, teacher and author. He began his career on the acclaimed show Freaks and Geeks and received a Golden Globe Award for his performance in the biographical film James Dean. Notable film credits include OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, SPRING BREAKERS, “Harry Osborn” in the SPIDER-MAN trilogy, MILK and 127 HOURS for which he received Academy Award, SAG and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor. He has directed, written and produced several feature films and numerous short works, and has published novels, poetry, short stories and magazine articles. He is currently teaching college courses at UCLA, USC and Cal Arts and acting classes at Studio 4. He will appear on Broadway this spring in a revival of Of Mice and Men.
