David Cronenberg’s adaptation of William S. Burroughs’ Beat Generation classic Naked Lunch is a druggy, almost indescribably weird tale of  addiction, sexual repression, talking insects, sentient typewriters and murder that also boasts one of the coolest casts of the 90s, including Peter Weller (Robocop), Judy Davis (Barton Fink), Julian Sands (A Room with a View) and Roy Scheider (Jaws).
In honor of NAKED LUNCH’s 35th anniversary, join us this spring for late night showings celebrating one of our favorite genres – the literary adaptation. Featuring four beloved adaptations by Cronenberg, Mary Harron, David Fincher and Joel and Ethan Coen, this series proves that sometimes, the movie is every bit as good as the book.
