Pure Nonfiction: Spring 2022

Our long-running documentary series, called “a vital outpost for award-winning documentaries” (New York Times) makes a long-awaited return to IFC Center with a 9-film spring season running April 5 – May 24, 2022. Offering audiences sneak previews of highly anticipated nonfiction features and series prior to their releases, the program includes post-screening conversations with creators and subjects. The series kicks off with LA MADRINA: THE [SAVAGE] LIFE OF LORINE PADILLA (Apr 5), winner of the DOC NYC Audience Award, and includes other highlights such as Sundance Audience Award winner NAVALNY (Apr 19) and GEORGE CARLIN’S AMERICAN DREAM (May 17) exploring the life of the controversial comedian, followed by a Q&A with directors Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio!

A Season Pass, good for all nine Spring 2022 screenings, is available at $145 ($105 IFC Center members).
