Waverly Midnights: The Feds

The Winter 2019 edition of “Waverly Midnights” highlights some of our favorite G-Men and -Women in the program “The Feds.” The series opens January 18 with Kyle MacLachlan’s iconic FBI agent Dale Cooper in David Lynch’s TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME (1992). Other highlights include Jodie Foster’s Oscar-winning turn as Clarice Starling in Jonathan Demme’s THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991), screening alongside prequel and sequel of sorts MANHUNTER (1986, Michael Mann) and HANNIBAL (2002, Ridley Scott). The series also presents 35mm prints of the comedies MISS CONGENIALITY (2000, Donald Petrie), starring Sandra Bullock, and the Wayans Brothers’ spoof WHITE CHICKS (2004, Keenan Ivory Wayans).
